Meet Our Team

Dr. Moeller graduated with his doctorate from the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2011. He is constantly improving his knowledge with continuing education courses to be on top of the latest advancements in dentistry and has taken an implant continuum for 10 months to learn more about implant placement as part of his advanced training. Dr. Moeller is a proud member of the American Dental Association and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He has been practicing since 2011 after he graduated, and his goal as a dentist is to give patients both the aesthetics and function of their teeth so that they feel confident about eating and smiling.

Dr. Moeller is an active member of the community. He is a part of the Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce, and enjoys making the community one where people want to live and raise their families. He has been married for over 20 years and has five amazing children. Some of his hobbies include playing golf, tennis and pickleball which he recently picked up. He even takes his kids out into the woods to ride dirt bikes. He also enjoys building things, from the habitat for his two pet rabbits to custom performance computers. Dr. Moeller even has a saltwater aquarium where he enjoys growing corals and creating awesome habitats for his pet fish.

Dr. Snow achieved a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Alabama before going on to graduate from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Dental Medicine in 2023. She frequently continues her education in order to stay on top of the latest advances in dentistry and ensure that you are receiving the high-quality dental care you deserve. She is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Her goal is to provide all patients the opportunity to receive exceptional dental care in a comforting environment.

Dr. Hughes earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree from Auburn University before completing her doctorate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. She takes several continuing education courses each year in order to provide the highest level of care in the ever-changing field of dentistry. She is a certified Silver-Level Invisalign® provider and a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the Florida Dental Association. She has been practicing in Okaloosa County since 2020.

Dr. Hughes believes that dental health is fundamental to one’s overall health. She is passionate about making sure all her patients receive the individualized, patient-centered care she would expect for herself and her family. Dr. Hughes believes in open and honest communication before and throughout treatment, to help patients feel relaxed and comfortable in the dental chair. She is known for making lasting connections with her patients.

Dr. Hughes has been married to her husband, Daniel, since 2016. He is a mechanical engineer on Eglin Air Force Base. They met while at Auburn University and have a golden retriever named Charlie. Some of Dr. Hughes’ hobbies include jigsaw puzzles, fishing with her husband and spending time with family and friends.

Jeana completed her Associate of Science in dental hygiene in 2009 at Pensacola Junior College before joining our office in 2012. She has recently achieved her certification in local anesthesia at the University of Florida in 2021. She loves having a wonderful work family, and is dedicated and compassionate about addressing each patient’s individual needs. Jeana volunteers with the Special Olympics at Navarre High School every Spring and recently worked with Remote Area Medical (RAM) in 2023.

Tammy achieved two associate degrees, one from Green River Community College in Washington, 1993, and one from Wayne Community College in North Carolina in 1995. She has been with Shalimar Family Dentistry since 1998. As someone who has worked in dentistry for over 30 years, she can attest that there is always something new to learn. Tammy contributes by providing gentle and caring dental treatment and working hard to provide great care to patients. Her family is her greatest blessing, which consists of two sons and two grandsons. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, kayaking, reading and playing board games.

Crystal is a registered dental hygienist who recently relocated from Washington state. She is originally from San Diego, CA, and very happy to be back in the sun and at the beach. Crystal achieved her dental hygiene degree in San Diego, with studies including oral pathology, advanced periodontology and anesthesiology. Now holding hygiene licenses in three states, Crystal’s main focus has always been to be very thorough with a gentle touch.

Crystal has had the opportunity to learn from several professionals, and continues to further her education yearly with an emphasis on periodontitis. She strives to help others understand the benefits of oral health, drawing them in to achieve the optimal care of their mouth.

Working with a team that takes pride in their work, producing healthy and beautiful smiles is a priority to her, and she is thankful to have found such a team at Shalimar Family Dentistry.

Crystal and her husband Terry have three wonderful grown children and five grandchildren. Her life experiences have included dental hygiene, restaurant management, serving, bar-tending, working on Alaskan fishing boats and wine-making, all of which have helped her to relate to a diverse spectrum of people.

Jennifer is a lifetime local of the Florida panhandle. She and her family have lived in Fort Walton Beach since 1992. She graduated from Pensacola State College with an associate’s degree in dental hygiene in 2016.

Being a military brat and now an active duty spouse, she has a passion to provide care for active duty and retired military families. She also loves to help people overcome their fear of the dentist.

In her free time she and husband enjoy kayaking, thrift shopping and volunteering for the local community.
